From an East Cleveland childhood to Showtime at the Apollo, Desmond “Storm E” Jones and I talk poetry, photography and politics. Desmond calls himself a “frustrated democrat” who is concerned about the amount of misinformation and disenfranchisement he sees.

Desmond feels that a strong anti-Obama sentiment turned out numbers in 2016, and that he’s worried that frustrated voters will simply choose to not vote at all. He’s looking for a candidate that is “not afraid to take the gloves off” and “go toe-to-toe with Trump.”
